Laptop Donation

On April 9, 2019, as part of Toyotsu Care, Our CSR Slogan, we held Laptop Donation in Midplaza Office. We share 100 laptops to be used by local community, schools and foundations. Before donated the laptops, we did some survey and also GEMBA to each location, because there were so many request came to us.

We were targeting local community, schools and also foundation which near our offices location. After all consideration, we appoint 6 foundations to received the donation. They were :

1. Pondok Pesantren Al Ikhwan
2. SMP Al Maghfiroh, Setu Cibitung
3. Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar Bekasi
4. YCAB Foundation
5. Al Hasanat Orphanage
6. AECS Foundation

We hope this program will be continued, and we can give more contribution to the community more and more.

Donation to Special Support Education Schools And Organizations

TTI has donated 20 units of wheelchairs to special support education schools in Indonesia. It’s the project cooperated with Toyotsu All Life, TTC’s group company in Japan.

 

The project was initiated by WAFACI, Wheelchairs and Friendship Center of Asia Indonesia. WAFCA is a non-profit organization that was established in 1999 as part of a social contribution project to commemorate DENSO Corporation’s 50th year anniversary. Its vision is to achieve inclusive development for people with disabilities to live independently through the utilization of a wheelchair, and to contribute to the general public through the friendship and support activities in sports and education. In Indonesia, it was established as “YAYASAN KURSIRODA DAN PUSAT PERSAHABATAN ASIA INDONESIA” on 24 June, 2014.

 

The project started since 2017 and it took more than 1 year to complete due to many difficulties especially regarding import problem. TTI imported wheelchairs, with the support of another sponsor company PT. Yusen Logistics Indonesia.

Total 20 units of wheel chairs are donated to:

1. SLB Negeri Kabupaten Bekasi
2. SLB Dharul Muhsinin
3. Yayasan Sayap Ibu Cab. Provinsi Banten
4. KUBEPENDA (Komunitas Usaha Bersama Penyandang Disabilitas)
5. National Vocational Rehabilitation Center
6. Panti Sosial Bina Grahita, Ciung Wanara, Bogor
7. SLB Negeri Cibinong, Bogor
8. SLB Makar Sari 1 Cibinong

Wheelchairs were shipped to Indonesia and arrived WAFCAI in September 2017, and were distributed to each organizations through October 2017 until January 2018. And now they are reported to be used in education.

Annual Blood Donation Event

Giving blood saves lives. The blood you give is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments. Many people would not be alive today if donors had not generously given their blood.

 

Therefore, every year we always schedule blood donation event in our CSR Program. This fiscal year, we held Blood Donation Event on August 15, 2019. The event was held in Conference Room Midplaza 2, 2nd Floor.

 

Colaborated with Jakarta Red Cross, we succeed to collect 100 blood units from 128 partsipants. Some participants cannot give their blood since their condition were under several requirements needed for donors.
